> Training

To encourage professional installations, Softcon offers free training courses to existing and potential installers of Softcon products.
Training is held every Wednesday and starts at 8:30 for 9:00 and ends between 15:00 and 16:30, depending on the size of the group.

Book for training

* Any cancellation of attendance must be done 24 hours before date of training. If there is no cancellation and you do not attend the training their will be a course charge of R280.00 per person.

* Training may sometimes be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances without a chance to notify the trainees. Kindly call prior to attending the training to confirm.

*No booking for the Sagem training will be allowed unless the trainee has completed the all the Softcon Courses (HW & Installation, Softwin3 Basic, Softwin3 Advanced)

What to bring for training?

Hardware training

The trainee will be supplied with all necessary equipment.

Softwin3 training

Each trainee is required to bring a computer or laptop with the following minimum requirements for running software in the training environment. Please note at Softcon will be unable to accommodate the trainee should these requirements not be adhered to.

Processor: Pentium IV 2.3 GHz for Installation
RAM: 512M (1GB Recommended)
Hard disk: 20 GB
PCI slots: 1slot for LAN MUX card, if required(PCI Mux only available for MS Windows XP)
CD drive: Required for software Installation.
Operating System: Windows XP( SP2 or later), Windows Vista(SP1 or later), Windows 7, Server 2003
